Happie Yeti came into existence because of the difficulty in renting basic camping equipment. You can't just decide to go out camping anytime you want without having to buy tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, etc. The current camping rental stores require that you deposit a hefty amount before you can rent equipment.

At Happie Yeti we believe in trusting the customers! We don't impose on the customers to put in a deposit and we rent out equipment at very nominal rates! You can benefit from this from our Aru Base camp, in Kashmir that's quite close to Pahalgam and call me on 8800861007 or Mr Muzaffar or Mr Ashraf (Numbers below) to do so directly at Aru.

We specialise in scientific expeditions to the Kolahoi Glacier and have partners in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Sikkim if you need our help in other Indian Himalayan States. We have trained mountaineers and glaciologist to support the expedition.

We have also taken Master students for field visits and trained them in field glaciology as well as how to respect the mountains and wild life.

We also sell equipment usually cheaper than what you would get at other stores but due to SARS-CoV-2 we had to stop selling equipment for a while but we will be back again.

Join us on an Adventure in Kashmir

We organise treks in Aru, a tourist spot in the Anantnag District of Jammu & Kashmir, India. It is located around 12 km from Pahalgam.

The village also serves as the start point for trekking to Kolahoi glacier.

The valley is also known to be a good site for camping.

Here, you can have a glimpse of Kolohoi Peak, 5370 mtrs. Another trek from Lidderwat leads to the most desired twin Lakes, Tarsar 3794 mtrs & Marsar 3788 mtrs.

Shillong often known as “Scotland of the East” because of its resemblances with Scottish lands. Meghalaya is one of the best places if you are seeking adventure - trekking, camping, caving, rock climbing, water sports, angling etc.
